What is measurement based on?

I just got my Cyro and it does seem like the solution to the issues I was having with gaming, though it's definitely going to take some learning. However, the hand rest currently HURTS. I measured my palm circumference as indicated and bought the small version of the Cyro because I was right in the middle of that measurement. However, I do have small but chubby hands, and I'm not certain what the change between the two versions was that the palm circumference measurement fits with.

Are both the larger and smaller versions designed with the same amount of space for the hand to fit in, at the base of the rest? (Specifically where it cups the hand, where the bottom side of the strap connects.) Do they have the same amount of distance to the buttons, or does the larger version also require more reach?

If that space on the larger version is larger, but the distance to the buttons is the same, I should have bought the larger version. But I have no way of knowing that from looking at the website. But if the space is the same, these are just not going to accommodate some people with thicker hands. And if the distance to the buttons changes, the larger version wouldn't work for me anyway, as I can barely reach on the smaller one.

Right now I'm still practicing with it to see if I can adjust. I definitely can't afford to just buy another one.

The reach would be the same for the both palm rests. The difference is in the curve, with bigger hand you wouldn't be able to insert the bottom side of the palm inside the rest, so your hand wouln't be sitting ''deep'' enough and the buttons would be harder to reach.

Are you pressing the buttons with intended fingers ?

I Just Got Mine. These Were Built With Very Long Fingers In Mind. With My Hand Comfortably Seated, Only My Middle Finger Touches A Button (And Barely At That) On The 2nd Row Of Buttons. The Keypad Could've Been Larger. If I Squeeze My Fingers Together, My Pinky Finger Still Hangs Off The Pinky Button. There Is No Way To Position Your Fingers On A "Home Row". Its Another Product That Was Good In Theory, But Poorly Executed. Its Looking Like I'll Be Sticking With My Swiftpoint Z.

Also, From The Picture Above, That is The Color I Wanted But The Ordering Color Was A Dull And Dark Green.
