I was concerned about getting an Azeron because my hands are fairly small, but found a guide on the FAQ that says the medium size is good for hands roughly 6.3" to 7.5", which was amazing as mine are 6.9" so perfectly in the middle there. Best as I can figure, my fingers are shorter in relation to my palm than is normal, because I have all the towers lowered as far as possible and have run into one odd issue.
Without heavy tilt, it is not possible to lower the pinky rail much, and that adjustment simply can't be used fully (which is probably fine, I doubt it would ever need to come in as far as the rail would allow). That section of the hand rest (on the curved style at least) is also where the palm rest is at its lowest, which exaggerates the issue because that tower hits impediment earlier than the other towers do.
If the palm rest doesn't have to extend out so far to the left, this could be easily fixed by adjusting the design of the palm rest to round off the corner on the pinky finger side a bit more, to reduce that obstruction. Or offering a shortened palm rest as an additional option for people with smaller hands/shorter fingers.
And to clarify, this isn't a complaint. I can work with this because I can tilt the tower enough to slip it slightly under the palm rest to get it just barely to where it needs to go to suit my stupid short fingers, I hope. And if this doesn't work, I have access to tools and can figure something out for adjusting the length on the palm rest myself. But it does seem odd that the pinky rail in particular is so very limited in terms of how far it can move.
