Joystick problem

Hi, i have Azeron compact for 3 years , it worked perfectly but recently the joystick is not working properly (see the video), it doesn't recenter quickly and it registers additional inputs.
in case the joystick needs replacement , can i replace it with the Elite joystick available in the store ? all help is appreciated.

Potentiometer is worn out and needs a replacement.
It can be replaced with the Elite joystick from the store.
If you use the restrictor ring, you would also need to purchase Elite compatible ring, since the stock ring won't fit the Elite v2 version.
