Invert Thumbstick Axis?

Is there a way to invert the thumbstick axis?

In star citizen I use it to walk, and it one axis (forward/backward) is backwards. If I switch to an Xbox360 stick, it inverts, but the game doesn't like it.

Do you mean changing the angle here?

No, I can change the angle by 180 degrees, and it fixes one, but that breaks the other, making it backwards.

I want to invert one axis, flip it.

Angle change will only work for both axis.
Our software won't be able to invert one axis only.
