Trying to update my Cyborg (non-Teensy) via the Azeron 1.1.2 Software on Windows 11.

Seeing following issues in the log:

{"level":"info","message":"HID Connect Event","timestamp":"2023-02-07T13:01:43.428Z"}
{"level":"warn","message":"request-fw-version has timed out.","timestamp":"2023-02-07T13:01:52.446Z"}
{"level":"warn","message":"re-executing \"request-fw-version\".","timestamp":"2023-02-07T13:01:52.446Z"}

{"level":"error","message":["dfu-util 0.11\r\n\r\nCopyright 2005-2009 Weston Schmidt, Harald Welte and OpenMoko Inc.\r\nCopyright 2010-2021 Tormod Volden and Stefan Schmidt\r\nThis program is Free Software and has ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY\r\nPlease report bugs to http://sourceforge.net/p/dfu-util/tickets/\r\n\r\n","Cannot open DFU device 0483:df11 found on devnum 14 (LIBUSB_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED)\r\n"],"timestamp":"2023-02-07T12:57:37.938Z"}

Currently it also fails to work in games - but shows the button presses fine in the Azeron software. But all buttons, except the analog stick are not working in a game context.

There is probably a good chance you have Thrustmaster and TARGET installed, or another similar Joystick or controller that uses "Guillemot" on the backend. I found the simplest way to get the update working was to uninstall TARGET, then remove the Thrustmaster for now (I have a T16000M) and then uninstall Thrustmaster/HOTAS App/Drivers (all done through Windows Add/Remove programs...search for "Thrus..." and remove both of them. NOTE: If you have or use TARGET from them, you'll be VERY FAMILIAR with this stupid uninstall and re-install process as it needs to be done ANYTIME I move the stick to a different USB port. Grrrrr...
Anyhow, after removing both those "apps" (one of which removes the Guillemot Driver), firmware updated perfectly.
