Cyro Mouse wheel not working

i got the cyro about 2 weeks ago and it works perfectly except for the mouse wheel

so, at first it worked normally, but then i started noticing it would skip some clicks, and now it takes at least 5 full rotations from my finger to get it to scroll once.

just in case it might be related, one of the screws on the bottom was loose, and i didn't notice until the black finish on it rubbed off on my mouse pad. i have tightened it and it stays in place.

to be clear the screw isn't an issue. the mouse wheel is. i'm just giving all information i can give that might help

Seems that not much can be done about it, would need to replace the encoder on it unfortunately.

well at least i have a course of action now. thank you.

other than this, the mouse has been wonderful to play with. i'll send them an email.

I have the exact same issue and I'll be sending an email today, hope there's a solution because besides this I've been loving this mouse.

I have the same issue as well! I think it is a flaw in the current design. Do you have plans on changing the design for the mouse wheel? It would be great to have a regular size (larger than it is now) wheel for more revolutions per finger pull. Location should be moved slightly as well. And fixing the skipped wheel turns is definitely a must. ty!

email us on info@azeron.eu for the technical support, sounds like the issue with encoder, which would need to be replaced.

We are constantly looking on upgrading our products. Few things are constantly being tested.

Having the same issue. Everything on the mouse works fine except for the mouse wheel. It rarely registers the input no matter how much I scroll with it. Thought it was me but looking here, it looks like it may be pretty common issue? I'll email the tech support as stated above, but just adding to the thread as an FYI.

Try dripping a bit of electrical cleaner down the gap, see if that helps.

I'm having the same problem, the second time. It was already fixed by Azeron a few months ago. I sent it in, then it worked for a few weeks. Now the mouse wheel doesn't work any more. This bothers me since you a cannot scroll properly and profile switching is not possible anymore without the desktop software. The last repair lasted 2 weeks and I'm not willing to send it in again, since the rest works fine. Is there any possibility to get a replacement? Or are there any other tips how to deal with this?

Tried the electrical cleaner spray on the encoder?

Got my Cyro about two weeks ago and while the mouse wheel did work intially for the first few days, albeit not really as precise as it should've, it now takes a few rotations to even register a single movement. Looks like that part is a real dud. Aside from the wheel the Cyro works perfectly but not being able to use a mouse wheel on a mouse is a bit beside the point of the device.

Wow, I have the exact same problem. I will send an email. Damned shame too since I JUST got all of the WoW buttons memorized.

Hi Guys. It stopped working again. Contact spray does not help anymore. Is there an opportunity to get a replacement of the PCB with the encoder? I could not find anything in the parts store.
