Choice between medium and large Cyborg

My hand measurement from wrist to tip of middle finger is about 20.5 cm. That would put me just barely into the "large" version.

How critical is this measurement?

Is there some overlap between the two sizes or is the minimum adjustment for the large at the top limit of the medium?

Measurement is critical. If the incorrect size is chosen, you`ll find it uncomfortable and using it will lead to cramps of hand and stuff. I`d recommend large for that.
The large will let you extend the towers further by 1cm over medium size.
