I game a little but not competitively. I'm not interested in this as a gaming device. Does it work as a productivity device? Currently I am using a Razer Orb Weaver to handle key strokes I would normally do on a keyboard for Revit. There are are a number of two letter key commands I use constantly in Revit to dimension,(DI), Rotate (RO), Move (MV), Tag (TG) and so on. I currently have 15 different commands set up on the Orb Weaver along with using the directional input to move elements in my drawings. Each of the two letter commands are set up in the Orb Weaver as macros so I strike one key instead of 2.

I've been wanting to try something new, something a little more comfortable than the Orb. I have to use this all day long for work, the way it makes my hands feel is a big deal. The only other device I've found with the directional joy stick is this one. I'm very curious about it. Anyone use it for 6-10 hours straight? Can I program a two button macro on each of the keys here?

Just looked up the keybinds for it. Should be doable. The''two button macros'' can be bound, yes. You can bind 3 buttons as well.
Each key can do single press / double / long, so you can have Ctrl+N , Ctrl +O, Ctrl+ S on the same button. Or just map the shift to another button and then just N, O, S on another button as example. Whatever feels better.

What you currently use the joystick for, is it zooming ? The Azeron one, will work the same way. You can map the 8 zones on the stick.

As ofr the ergonomics - Azeron adjusts to your hand, so you eventually want a configuration, where your hand is relaxed on the Azeron, you are not hitting any keys and the keys are within a short reach.

Quite a few people use it for 3d modelling, video and photo editing.
