My hand measured at the top end of the medium sizing, and I got a medium. But after some time of using, it I'm realizing it feels like it's too small for me and i have to hold my hand back away from the hand rest to use it properly. Short of having to rebuy the entire assembly and discard my current one, are there any solutions for upgrading the size?

You can try extending the tower further.
Unscrew the top screw and remove it, then release the closer screw and try overextending the tower over the rail.
But keep an eye on the wires, don't overstretch does, if you feel any resistance then stop.
If it let`s you move the tower further by some 8-10mm, then you can purchase the baseplate from us to convert it to large
