hi there,

I've been using my cyborg with wow classic for months now, great experience. However since about three days ago I started to notice my charatacter in game started to register random key presses when I'm actually pressing some other key, or not pressing any key at all. The random keys are all over the plases - anything on the cyborg binding may randomly do it self. It happens 1-2 times per 5 seconds. Out of the game I've tried to open a blank word file and see if the Cyborg will register random key press - it doesn't.

I've tried to unbinld and rebind key in software, it is still the same. I'm attaching this log below as per instruction. Not sure if this is enough information, let me know if there is anything else I shall include.

Oh, just realised there isn't a insert an attachment in the forum posting. How am I suppose to attach the log?

Cheers,

Hi Moderator,

Thank you for the reply, and thank you for the screen shot, how stupid am I to miss that.

Back to the inputs you are seeking - yes the key does light up in a very fast flash in the software when the issue occurs.

I am attaching a video. The key I bind with 5 and designated to open world map in WOW classic does flash in this video, and hence the map pop up. Attachment 2 is the log, as exported straight after the video.

Cheers,

Cyborg is telling you are going the wrong way, so pops the map.

Reset the device via settings tab. Make sure you back up the onboard profiles b4 that.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, re-sit the main grounding wire from both ends.
So unscrew the palmrest, locate the pins, unscrew it, remove the wire and reinsert it, making sure the bare wire is in the pin, no insulation cable.
Check the whole cable for damage. Put the palmrest back on and test, don't screw it on yet.

If the issue persists, unscrew the two screws that hold the board down and remove the holder, then lift the board up, enough to be able to insert the usb cable. Insert it and test with board lifted up, if the issue dissapears, then put the board back down, but make sure no pins are pinching the wires underneath.

Hi, thank you for the instruction, sadly not seem to be working

first, "Cyborg is telling you are going the wrong way, so pops the map." - nice try lol

so here is a run down of my try

Reset the device via settings tab. - doesn't seem to have any effect, problem lingers

re-sit the main grounding wire - it seems to work for about 10 mins after the procedure, and then it's back to the problem. let me attach a picture to make sure i am doing it right. I unscrew the tiny screw, and unplug the wire, and the replugged in and did the same on the other side tracing the wire, as show in blue circles below. i think i didn't let rubber got in the way when rescrew

lift the board up, enough to be able to insert the usb cable. Insert it and test with board lifted up - this doesnot seem to have any effect. below is the picture I took while at it, as in the blue circle

let me know what i missed here.

Cheers,

try plugging in a different usb port, preferably motherboard usb port directly.
if you have a powered usb hub, you can test that as well.
usb cable could also cause this, worth a shot on another one

open the controller panel and attach a screenshot of it.

Check if the issue occurs on other profiles.
Is it only happening in wow ?

Do you get large CPU spikes or is it constant high, does the issue occur only at high CPU load ?
