Stim, backpack function, melee, switch aim type, quick grenade toss, primary/secondary/support weapons and drop item are all on my mouse.

I use a Razer Naga Pro V2 mouse, and I use the 6 button side piece for HD2.

scroll wheel up for primary weapon,
scroll wheel down for secondary weapon
right on the scroll wheel is my quick grenade
left on the scroll wheel swaps camera side

1 support weapon
2 drop item wheel
3 backpack function

4 switch aim type
5 melee
6 stim

*Adjust that however you need for your own mouse*

The macros are just what I use the most, and the top ones are substitutes for select mission types. You can choose to enter your own or replace them with other functions, it just works nicer for me this way. Plus I prefer the macros on the Cyborg instead of my mouse buttons, easier for me with the layouts of both devices.

Either way...

Hope this helps someone out there, enjoy, and spread some Freedom and Managed Democracy out there, lol.

Are you not afraid to get flagged for cheating when your stratagem calls are never wrong and done incredibly fast?

I too would like to see how you got stratagem macros to work. I cant for the life of me get any of them to work consistently. Coming from a razer tartarus v2, I had all my stratagems set up with 50ms between presses and they worked everytime. same settings with azeron takes about 3-5 tried to get a stratagem up. ive tried all the way up to 100ms and it still isnt any more consistent. Any help would be appreciated

Hello, yes plz tell us how. I have a lot of problems on my hands, normaly I use external programs for make me life less painful. Helldivers2 use some anticheat that block all my accesibility programs. How can you setup your macros? I tried everything, thx

Hey, I couldn't find any clear info but I figured out how to make it work! I'm new to these forums but ill try to post a screenshot.
Capture strat.JPG

So the button duration was confusing, that timing is not the delay between presses but the time the button is held down so I set that to the minimum the software would allow (20ms). You need to add in a separate delay between each key press for it to work, my strats work every time with this 35 ms delay. I have my stratagems set to use arrow keys and set the d pad on the azeron to arrow keys as well so I can easily type in other strats I don't have macros for. also set the long press section to a separate strat so I can have 2 strats on 1 key. HOPE THAT HELPS!

Thats my stratagem macros figured out, now I just need to figure out the optimal joystick settings. right now I'm just using wasd, but I have to fully tilt the stick for it to move which is kinda annoying. curious what other people are doing.

Thanks I hadn't seen the other comments, my bad y'all. Thats pretty much how I do mine. I just add in the release of CTRL as the last step. and I use a 50ms delay once after triggering CTRL, and only again if two inputs repeat , for example RIGHT (DELAY) RIGHT.

As for the stick I recommend using it as an Xbox style joystick and the restrictor ring makes it perfect. Highly recommend. Nice, tight 360 movement.

@Starkiller Ace Omfg thank you, you kind human!
I just got my gamepad setup and this is the first thing I came to look for. Maybe I won't suck at this game anymore and it'll actually be fun for me to play. This isn't typically my style of game, but it's one my lover really enjoys, and I want to enjoy it, so I'll be more willing to play with him. Haha.
Now to see if I can relearn how to play games with this gamepad.

@Dapoo
I hope it helps, it feels better using the cyborg than it did using my keyboard, that I can say personally for sure. As for no longer sucking lol, practice is my only advice. Good luck out there Helldiver !

For anyone else that may still be confused on my macro setups, here is an example of how I setup Orbital Airburst Strike and Eagle Airstrike, with my inputs.
As I noted in my last post if they commands/inputs repeat I add a delay between them, otherwise if they do not repeat, no delay is needed. HD2 has a issue with applying the macro sometimes if it isn't this way, and I have extensively tested that theory.

This is the best way to setup your macros to get them to apply every time, the first time, otherwise what is the point of the macro, right ?

Orbital Airburst Strike

Button Press C
Delay
Button Press/Release Right
Delay
Button Press/Release Right
Delay
Button Press/Release Right
Button Release C

Now for an example of on without repeat inputs it looks like this,

Eagle Airstrike

Button Press C
Delay
Button Press/Release Up
Button Press/Release Right
Button Press/Release Down
Button Press/Release Right
Button Release C

I have my duration times set to 50ms by default, I've tried quicker, and slower, 50 feels perfect to me, but feel free to go lower or higher and find what feels good for your stratagem inputting. I recommend setting a default in settings so you don't have to change the duration timer for every input, I learned that the hard way.

I hope this clears up any confusion anyone may have on how to set your macros up for HD2.

See you in the fight Divers
