Azeron xim apex

When i first turn on my xbox the azeron led lights up and then turns off. I have to unplug it from the xim apex hub and plug it back in to get it to turn back on. Then it stays on the whole gaming session. Is there a fix for this? I dont want to wear out the usb ports,

The initial spike when all devices turn on and draw power is too much for the hub to handle. Is hub plugged in the power socket ? If it is not, then that might be the solution to it.
