While playing with a gamepad you have your entire hand under the controller to counter the force that your thumb is using to press down the stick, so your controller stays leveled. However playing with the Azeron keypad, the clicking force goes sideways and the rails, the stick, and all buttons are fixed by screws at the end of the rail. By pressing a button sideways without any counterforce, all the force goes on the screw that is holding the angle of the rail the thumbstick is on, so after a while, it will wear down the screw and the arm will start moving.
Before you ask why the thumbstick is clickable in the first place, it's because suppliers offer the thumbstick with dead zones and only the thumbsticks with mid-click offer the quality we need. If you plan on using the click on stick, you will have to think about reinforcing the rail so it doesn't start moving. For example, wedging something between the thumbstick module and nearby button tower, or reinforcing the screw underneath:
