Thumbstick differences?

There are two thumbstick types available for the Azeron Cyborg Compact. Can someone explain the difference between the two other than what is shown in the configurator? Is it just different knobs, or is there more to it? If just different knobs could both be had, and be able to switch between them? Why does the Standard include the "restrictor ring" while the Elite V2 does not? Do they work differently?

Any help with this will be appreciated. Please provide more details rather than less as I don't really understand anything about the workings of joysticks other than how to use them.

Why does the Standard include the "restrictor ring" while the Elite V2 does not? Do they work differently?

The "restrictor ring" is meant to make the movement of the thumbstick less while the Elite V2 uses a different range of motion , swappable thumbstick and is more adjustable. It all really come down to your preference I will add some videos to help you understand
