Thumbstick causing disconnect?

Using the thumbstick (it is the Elite version) on my less than one month old Cyborg II is somehow causing it to disconnect from the PC. It reconnects almost immediately but it is causing some serious problems in-game. I have rebooted, restarted, checked for updates, disconnected and reconnected the cables form both the Cyborg and the PC and the problem persists. Have verified that the problem exists even when not in a game with just the Azeron software open. Have tried all of the different thumbstick assignments with the same results. It acts like the usb cable has been unplugged and plugged right back in. I have wiggled all the cables around (including the cables to the thumbstick) and cannot reproduce the problem. Only happens when moving the thumbstick and it seems to be mostly when trying to move in a backwards direction. Have also had a lot of problems with the thumbstick sticking, again almost always when trying to move backwards. The disconnecting issue just started yesterday and the sticking issue has been a periodic problem since it was delivered about a month ago. I could really use some assistance here.

Swap the x / y wires around, see if the issue carries over to other axis, by unscrewing the pin, removing the wire, then re-insert it and screw the pin down.

Also re-sit the G and + wires.

I am experiencing the same issues. Have removed palm rest and checked wiring, all seems good. Sometimes disconnects 3 to 4 time in one match. Is there anything I can do?

specifically caused by joystick movement?
If you don't use the joystick, you are not getting disconnects ?

When in a match (Fortnite) I get the "disconnect" sound from windows and my character starts moving/drifting backwards. I can not make it move in any other direction. I revisited the wiring as mentioned in this thread and tightened the retainer for the blue wire in TH/2. Haven't played enough to see if the problem has gone away, because it doesn't do it all the time. I thought it could be the mouse but after further evaluation, I don't believe it is the cause of the problem because I can view other directions just can not move. It only happens for a short bit before reconnecting. As mentioned by others I have updated software, replaced cable and recalibrated the thumb stick. As to your question, I have tried to just sit still in the game for a short periods and haven't noticed the disconnect. Not sure as to the direction of travel when it disconnects because it's usually in an up close gun fight/battle and I'm all over the place going multiple directions. I'll try to gather more information and respond to this thread. and try to get video.

This is the latest update: I think it may have had something to do with my keyboard it's a Ducky 0ne 2 mini. If I unplug it, I didn't disconnect anymore. This morning I did a firm ware update on the keyboard and I haven't had an issue so far........ Knock on wood..
