Stuck in Settings screen in software

I am stuck in the software settings screen.
I just got the compact. Plugged it in, downloaded the software and nothing...
It says to choose profile to start. But there are no profiles to pick?!?
I found online how to update firmware and what not but this thing does not have a reset button.
I have taken it apart and see no reset button what so ever.
How am I supposed to use this thing?
HELP!!!!!

I just got mine today and am facing the same problem. I HAVE NO PROFILES to choose from! What to do?
