Ghost click/phantom click issue

Hi,

I received my Cyborg about a month ago, everything have been really great. Love every aspect of the design. However, ever since 2 days ago, my middle finger upper pull (#9) started to have random phantom/ghost click issue. Particularly frequent after a long press release. Not ever program/game register that faint click, but its really obvious in some sensitive/high intensity situation. I have tried to remap using both stock azeron software and reWASD, both have the same issue, which leads me to suspect its the hardware issue. The click throttling in this case does not help since the issue happens after the long press. Please let me know if there are any other step I can take to fix the issue.

Thank you.

Edit: Clarification, its the Middle Pull button, wasn't sure the terminology at that time.

Update: I just tested it with the conventional mouse double click checker. Bind the button as the left or right mouse click. Its very clearly doing the ghost click right after long press release.

Take the button off and press on the switch direcly to confirm the switch is ghost clicking.
If it isn't then check for the switch movement in the tower, which can also cause that.
If none of the above, then you might need to polish the back of the button with a nail file or something similar. That is for the part that actuates the swith.

If it happens to be a faulty switch, please email info@azeron.eu and we will look into a replacement part sent or repair arranged.

Thank you for the suggestion. The issue is really random currently. But the issue did happen when I press the switch directly, just much less frequent. I will try to file the button contact hopefully it might help.

Had any luck with that?

Unfortunately, that's a negative. The switch actually started doing the normal double clicking, so it pains me to say, its definitely a failed switch. Have contacted the Azeron service for a new tower.

Edit: The filing actually helped another button that was being too sensitive. Learned a great trick. Thank you. :>
