Afternoon All,

I recently purchased a Cyro for my bro. He only has use of his left hand and so the Cyro made perfect sense. It turned up in a week, which is super fast, but since then it's been stuck in the box as we can't get it to connect to the Xbox.

To rewind this a tad, we took it out the box and connected it the PC. We was able to map each button to how my bro liked it via the software given. When I unplugged it from the PC and connected it to the Xbox (via the lead) nothing happened when you clocked the buttons (the button he mapped.for 'A' as an example. I would then unplug it from xbox and plug into PC and all the settings we had set up and activated were on the PC screen so I know its done something. It just won't then work as seen on the Xbox.

Is there anyone else out there who has had a similar issue and if so how did you rectify it? I read lots of comments on Reddit etc of people that use it for Xbox so I will hold my hands up here and admit its no doubt me being a numpty but any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

Cyro would work natively on the games that support mouse and keyboard input on Xbox.
What game did you try it for ?

You’re not a “numpty” — adaptive controllers can be tricky to set up due to their custom nature and varying compatibility requirements. The fact that the Cyro works on PC and retains mappings is a good sign, so the issue is likely a configuration or compatibility hiccup with the Xbox.

You're definitely not alone, many users hit this snag. The Cyro will only work on Xbox if the game supports mouse and keyboard input natively. Try testing it with a game like Fortnite, Color Rush or Minecraft that does. If nothing works, you might need an Xbox adaptive controller or third-party adapter to bridge the input.
