Cyborg Thumbstick Issue

I sat down yesterday to play WoW and one direction was not registering output on a key I've bound to it. I've found a way to work around it, simply bind same profile to onboard 1 and 2; switch between them. Is there a part I can replace to counter this issue? After the workaround it's fine, just want to not have to worry about it.

I did have a lock up on my computer some short time ago, and my machine had shut down not normally, it was frozen.

Sounds like you were using a software profile and when you reconnected the keypad it switched to on-board profile, where the key is not bound or something else is bound to it. So then you bound the button on all profiles and it works for you.
Correct me if I`m wrong. Or go more in the detail on the issue, you can include pictures from binding menu to understand better.
