Cyborg II Not Responding

Just got done installing a new thumbstick module after the original one stopped working (it was stuck "full-throttle in one direction when viewed on the Azeron software). When I went to plug the keypad in and test out the new thumbstick module, the keypad would not respond at all. The light won't turn on, there is no connection sound from the PC, there is no indication of connection on the Azeron software, and all the troubleshooting steps on the manual (including hard resetting to Boot Mode) are not working. I sent an email to the indicated address, but am hoping someone on here may have some guidance to offer. Cheers

Double check whether the usb cable is fully inserted. (it is not fun intended, it does happen and easy to miss)
Same cable / same usb port ?
Anything else changed at all?
