I have a Cyborg II and a Cryo connected to my Xim matrixon my PS5 and Xbox Series X and they work great except for 1 issue...
I have the Thumbstick on the Cyborg set as "Xbox 360 joystick"...everything works fine until i use the thumbstick, then the cyborg stops working...the profile LED is still on but all the buttons, the thumbstick, and the switch profile buton stops working completely.
I can unplug the cyborg from the Matrix and plug it back in and it works fine until again I try to use the thumbstick.
Any ideas as to what may be the issue here?
I would really love to use the thumbstick as an analog control.

As a side note the thumbstick works fine without issues if I use it as a "Keyboard" or as a "mouse Joystick", this issue only happens if I have it set as "Xbox 360 Joystick".

Is the stick on Cyro also set to xbox 360 ?
Does the issue occur with single Cyborg connected and xbox360 selected?

No, the stick on the Cyro is set to keyboard.

As for the second question...I don't know, I didn't think to disconnect the cyro and connect a regular mouse, I shall try that and report back.

Ok, I tested it and yes it still does the same thing even when the cyro is disconnected.

Verify on whether there are any issues on the PC when you move the joystick of the keypad.
If there are no issues on PC, then export the log file from Azeron software / settings / troubleshooting with the keypad connected

Try resetting the device via settings tab, then set the joystick to Xbox360 and connect for tests
Yep, tried that last night.
Reset the device, buttons set to keyboard mode, thumbstick still does the same.
Reset the device, buttons set to joystick mode causes a whole other set of problems.

Any issues occur whilst connected to PC ?
Try reinstalling the firmware via settings tab and choosing performance mode.

Nope, having zero issues when connected to PC.
However, I should be noted when I say "having zero issues when connected to PC" that means when the keypad is connected to pc and in the Azeron software.
I do not game on PC, nor do I have any PC games to test the keypad with, I can only test it in the Azeron software.
I would just connect directly to one of the consoles but I have no games that are keyboard/mouse compatable.

screenshot the profile for the XIM use, the file doesn't load to me.
On profile 2 change the joystick mode to xbox360

When you connected the Azeron to the PC, did you also move the joystick, right ?

This might be something you could post on XIM forum.

ok, screenshot attached...
Joystick mode is already on xbox360 joystick mode on profile 2, thumbstick has the same issue no matter what profile I'm using.

"When you connected the Azeron to the PC, did you also move the joystick, right ?" No, when i disconnect and/or disconnect my Azeron, I don't even touch the keypad, only the cable.

"This might be something you could post on XIM forum." I have talked to them on the XIM forums and the Developers have said there is nothing internally that would make the XIM cause this behavior.
I have also talked to other Azeron/XIM users and they have no issues. I have even tried using a couple of their profile/configs they use on their Azeron/XIM setups and my thumbstick still has the same issue.

''"When you connected the Azeron to the PC, did you also move the joystick, right `` - Try connecting the Azeron on PC and testing the joystick to see if it will bring up same behaviour or similar or cause anything at all.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, i don't know why but my brain read that differently.

Yes, every time I connect the Azeron to my PC to change a setting or mapping, etc. I always test all buttons and the stick to make sure everything is working how i want.

I have literally never had any issues with either the stick or the buttons with the keypad on PC.

Not sure what is causing it tbh.
Try setting the trigger magnitude to 3 and analog smoothething to false.
Downgrade the firmware version to v96 and test -
this will make sure it`s nothing firmware related

Try connecting a powered usb hub, if that`s possible to see if the issue is not caused by lack of power.

Sorry for being unresponsive, I had to leave town for a few days to take care of something.

As soon as this started happening, I did start connecting through a powered usb hub, I had the same thought maybe it was a power issue....the powered hub made no difference.

Also, I cant do the hard reset, that program that is required to manually install firmware is unattainable. The site keeps giving me a "site cannot be reached" error.
So now I'm screwed because I'm already at step 2 with it in bootloader mode, but now i have no way to manually install the firmware.

On a side note...it may be a firmware issue. I connected my 2nd cyborg II and it is having the same issue. I looked at the firmware version and it's the same as the 1st cyborg II. And I know for certain that one was working before the update. I used the second cyborg II to create the profile and played with it for months before switch to the other cyborg II.
